It is said that there may be between six and ten million species of insects and they represent over 90% of the different lifeforms on earth. But how many of these can be found in Fineshade Wood?


We are encouraging the recording of all types of insects in Fineshade  and are gradually be adding other webpages about them.

Scarce Chaser Dragonfly - most unusual in woodland
